6 more weeks of T...A....C

I have officially completed 2 weeks of BSLC in SISPEC (PLC). Firstly, the travelling distance to and fro camp and back home, vice versa, has made me miss travelling on ferry to Tekong. Secondly, once I reach camp...it'll be a stressful affair each day with lectures and rushing from one spot to another spot just to be screwed in the ass due to tardiness or something (I'm not even sure why we get punished sometimes).

If you are a recruit and you say that Tekong is bad and horrible or you are going to enlist and you're scared of Tekong...then I can only tell you to suck it up. Cause if you're from the leadership batch, be sure that it'll get much tougher in the later stages. =D Tekong was a haven to me, and my aim right now is to get my rank and get my ass hauled back by ferry to that island resort (thingy) to train more Sotongs and Wayang-ers.

OCS + SISPEC is definitely where the Army shows it's ugly, mud-covered and smelly face to you. The officers and enciks are fierce here and they don't take lightly to dumb mistakes, because they expect you to be better at your craft. That...however, in some ways make you feel that you want to achieve better standards and prove to yourself that you can actually avoid getting fucked everytime.

In leadership course, you will definitely learn alot more than when you were in Tekong. I'm just 2 weeks old in this camp and I still have about....let me calculate....based on a few factors thrown in....oh yeah, 4 months and 2 weeks (of travelling from Tampines to Joo Koon and then hiking up the hill, bypassing Discovery Centre and finally, reaching my home away from home...Pasir Laba Camp.

Oh, if you're a fat slob like I am...make sure you keep your Saturday mornings free, because a pass or a fail in IPPT rewards you with an exclusive morning session of PT (which I have to say, is quite satisfying to do).

Don't be scared just by reading this entry because everyone's experience is different as they are based on the superiors that you work under and also the comrades that you are with, so keep an open mind if you're still going to enlist this year or the coming years.

On another side of things, I really wish I can have more time to spend at home because I really miss my family, I miss Skylar, miss making music and playing games and just slacking about at home with all my electrical gadgets on and pushing the electric bill up. It's just 23 hours of civilian life for the past 2 weekends.

I really miss alot of things right now. Oh and does anyone have good books to read? Please recommend.

Going to Lower Mandai or somewhere near Yio Chu Kang cemetery area tomorrow for my field camp of 3-4 days. Hell yeah....I'm really not looking forward to it.
