BIT Graduation Night/Dinner

The event was held at Bliss Garden, Singapore Expo Foyer 1. Firstly, the food wasn't amazing. Yes, I paid $40 bucks to be there to stuff my face but due to the quality of the food, I was rather disappointed cause I've eaten food that is much better. I am not comparing it to awesome local dishes too, just that for a classy joint, I expected better food. Warm food actually.

Why wasn't the food warm?....hmmm I wonder why......oh yeah cause the airconditioning was as cold as a freezer. I couldn't even feel my fingers anymore. It's really a wonder why the room was so cold, the food might have been warm but due to the airconditioning, it might have lost it's warmness.

I rant too much about the food's warmth, the taste though....is pretty bland.

As for the event, there were stupid games, plenty of photo taking sessions, Mr and Miss BIT, more photo sessions, oh yeah...how can I forget...old photos of the students in BIT accompanied by what other song than Graduation by Vitamin C.

I didn't win the lucky draw, damn. The first prize was an iPod. However, I'm pretty happy that I no longer have to wake up to smses saying "Helloz allsz, euu da finishz de segregated part of de pojectz?" when I have actually sent it the previous night. Yeah, you know who you are googly eyed skinny fuck.

Most of the guys were dressed alright, girls were trying to outdress each other. At the end, there were more phototaking sessions, and usually people will hand me the camera rather than have me behind the lens with them. I'm not complaining though, I wasn't dressed for the occassion. I was dressed for the food.

All in all, I think I wasted my fucking $40 (which I could have set aside to buy Killzone 2) and alot of my precious time staying in that refridgerator of a dinner hall. But it was still nice to meet some of the people that actually made the 3 year BIT journey bearable cause in the end, that was the last time I'll ever see them.

I kinda do have abit of nostalgia running through my mind, running scenes from Year 1 through to Year 3 till the very last minute. From that horrid IISO to the last minute study sessions, to the cheeky fatass in Web Design to long 3 hour lab sessions and yeah, those presentations and my over indulgence of nice food at IT canteen with Liyana and friends (whom have disappeared) and gaining alot of weight in Year 1. I really regret gaining that much weight...it's so tough to lose it quickly but with the right amount of discipline, I'll start my anorexia regime again which includes exercising too. OH well....next up, National Service.

I'll probably post pictures up on my facebook, not alot though but I rather post it there and bore most people who visit my account. Haha.
